Acer Predator Helios 700 Has HyperDrift and MagForce

First showcased at a next@acer event in New York, USA, Acer Predator Helios 700 was released in Indonesia. It comes with Intel’s tallest processor 9th generation Core I9 Gears two of its most powerful innovations.

Acer Predator Helios has two interesting features namely HyperDrfit and MagForce. HyperDrift is a unique design on the Acer Predator Helios 700 keyboard that was created supporting the cooling system and its performance.

So, the Acer Predator Helios 700 keyboard can be shifted down which will display a second-tier panel, exposing the two cooling fans. When the keyboard is shifted, a mechanical sound will be heard from the laptop.

Together with that, the performance of the Acer Predator Helios 700 that is monitored in the Predator Sense software directly shows the improved performance of the Normal mode to the Boost mode. CPU and GPU performance is seen increasing including the speed of the cooling fan.

This mode is not the highest, there is still an overclock mode or Extreme mode. Once HyperDrift is activated, simply press the Turbo Hotkey button on your keyboard to increase its performance to Turbo mode.

The Acer claimed the performance increased 11.5 percent in Extreme mode compared to Normal mode. As known, the Acer Predator Helios 700 uses an Intel Core I9-9980HK processor that does support overclock.

Switch to another innovation in Acer Predator Helios 700 yaitiu WASD button which has MagForce capability. MagForce makes the WASD button function like an analog joystick on the PlayStation controller.

For example, when you play a game, usually the W button is used to move forward. Now when the W button is pressed with the fingers more angled forward, this will trigger the full actuation of the keypad switches, which makes the character run.

While the W keypad is simply pressed, the calculated actuation is considered half and the game character is just a regular run. It is easier to use MagForce in WASD like stepping on the vehicle gas pedal.

Acer Predator Helios 700 uses the 9th generation Intel Core I9-9980HK which supports Overclock but is also available with Core i7-9750H. The graphics card is also provided with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 and RTX 2070 options.

This Laptop provides a choice of 16GB RAM up to 64GB. The storage is also large enough, namely a combination of 512GB NVMe + 1TB HDD up to 2x256GB NVMe RAID 0 + 2TB.

Having a fairly thick and weighted body, the Acer Predator Helios 700 provides a 17-inch screen-size IPS panel at FHD (1920×1080) 144Hz resolution with 3MS response time and NVIDA G-Sync supported.
