MediaTek continues to expand its chipset product lineup on smartphones. They now announce the two most recent chipsets targeting the gaming segment Helio G35 and Helioe G25.
In these two new MediaTek G Series chipsets, the manufacturer still carries the capabilities of MediaTek HyperEngine to a mainstream smartphone so that it can present the best gaming experience.
“Mobile Gaming is the way it is now chosen for entertainment in a variety of market segments, and MediaTek expands the G series to meet the big demand for mainstream gaming smartphones at competitive prices,” said Deputy General Manager Wireless Communication Business Unit MediaTek, Yenchi Lee.
“MediaTek Helio G25 and G35 offers the features of premium smartphones already on our other G series lines, including higher power efficiency, optimal performance, smoother gaming, and better photography,” he added, “he explained.
MediaTek Helio G25 and G35 respectively are supported by the ARM Cortex-A53 2GHz and 2, 3GHz CPU for MediaYek Helio G35. The GPU used is the IMG PowerVR GE820 with a speed of 650MHz for G25 and 680MHz in G35.
Both were created with the 12nm Finet fabrication featuring MediaTek HyperEngine to keep providing powerful performance with power efficiency. So the gaming experience is claimed to be the maximum with battery saving.
MediaTek HyperEngine also offers intelligent capabilities to maintain the quality of the Internet connection. For example, switching quickly between WiFi or LTE that MediaTek claims does not show any lag.
Capabilities other than gaming brought by MediaTek Helio G25 and G35 are Multicamera support with a single camera that can support 21MP and 25MP.
Cameras on smartphones using MediaTek HElio G25 and G35 also come with AI and EIS and Rolling Shutter Compensation capabilities to produce good video quality. In some countries in Asia, MediaTek Helio G35 is already present in Realme C11.
